The American Red Cross Lifeguarding Instructor course helps to train candidates in basic-level American Red Cross lifeguarding skills. By becoming an instructor, participants will be able to demonstrate the refined techniques of a lifeguard, teach the necessary skills required in a classroom setting and then apply those skills to others. Participants taking this class must have a current Lifeguard Certification, be at least 17 years old, and have completed all online portions prior to the first day of class.
