DESCRIPTION:The holidays are a time when most of us are together with family and friends.  However there are many seniors who feel lonely and isolated during this time.  Home Instead Senior Care partners with community organizers to identify seniors who might not otherwise receive gifts during the holiday season and collect gifts for them.  Volunteers will gather here at the center on Thursday\, December 12th\, from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. to wrap the gifts so they can be distributed before Christmas.  If you would like to help wrap some gifts that afternoon just sign up in the office and bring a pair of scissors\, all other supplies are furnished.

DESCRIPTION:Do you realize that there are soldiers who do not receive much\, if any at all\, mail during the holidays?  Here is your chance to help brighten up the life of a soldier by sending a Christmas card.  Here’s all you need to do:  write a short message in a card\, sign using only your first name\, place the card in its envelope\, DO NOT SEAL IT\, and drop off in our office no later than Thursday\, November 14th.   We have Christmas cards available in the office for you to use if you don’t have any.  Let’s see how many we can collect for our brave men and women in the military!
