Skate Park

The Hawn Skate Park received an update in 2018. The skate park is now fully concrete and accessible to skateboards, roller blades, scooters, and BMX bikes. The renovation features 2 drop in, a set of stairs, a grinding rail, and what the designers of the skate park call a “pump bump”. The addition to Hawn Park allows more use for the citizens of the city and community. The Skate Park closes each night at Midnight. It is suggested that all riders wear safety gear while using the park. A full list of park rules can be found below.

• SAFETY FIRST – HELMETS AND OTHER PROTECTIVE GEAR ARE HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
• NO PERSONAL RAMPS OR RAILS ARE ALLOWED
• BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS – NO FIGHTING OR FOUL LANGUAGE
• ALCOHOL, TOBACCO PRODUCTS AND ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES ARE NOT ALLOWED
• CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF – DO NOT LEAVE TRASH ON OR AROUND THE SKATE PARK
• NO GUM, FOOD OR DRINKS ON THE SKATE PARK SURFACE
• COMPETITIVE OR DEMONSTRATION EVENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL

• GRAFFITI, TAGGING, LITTERING, STICKERS OR OTHER SIMILAR ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE SKATE PARK
• GRAFFITI/VANDALISM OF THE SKATE PARK WILL RESULT IN A MINIMUM 48 HOUR FACILITY CLOSURE
